Tharagai

Tharagai was set up to revive and preserve the traditional Tie and Dye method called Sungudi. Based out of Madurai, Tharagai has researched and built a repository of designs in Sungudi where the design of dots look verily celestial. Associated with Gandhi Gram and Chellamuthu trust, Tharagai is successfully continuing to train more people in this tie and dye method thus contributing to heritage preservation.
