The crazy garden quilt is completely handmade and consists of 25 hexagons and 6 half hexagons. Each hexagon has at least 25 embroidery stitches with ribbon work, butterflies, bees and embellishments. Every hexagon has been adorned with lace & embroidery work. The intricate quilt has been crafted with locally sourced and upcycled sarees and blouse scraps. This piece begun in the COVID times of February 2020 and took 7 months to complete, with the support and guidance of Tsala Studio, Bangalore.
