I was all excited to visit Japan in Spring, right in time to see the beautiful Sakura in bloom (Cherry Blossoms), to meet Nitama the cat station master, master some complex origami and even try a Shibori workshop. And in Summer, Japan would host the Olympics and I would get to enjoy 2 weeks of scintillating sports. Well, all those plans just got "2020"-ed!
This quilt of Sakura blooms and Olympic rings eclipses the many shades of grey that was this year.
Here"s to 2021 - a year of hope.
